With cobbled-stone streets and beautifully painted houses, Valladolid is an absolutely stunning little city. It is a Photographers’s Dream destination to take beautiful pictures. And while photographers will definitely have a blast here, I am just that average person that loves a nice-looking Instagram feed. In this Guide, I will tell you the best Instagram spots in Valladolid.
1. Iglesia de San Servacio, the best Instagram spot in Valladolid
This one is kinda obvious because it´s in the middle of the city and all the tour buses make a quick stop here so that people that are on their way to Chichen Itza can take pictures. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful church and is one of the best Instagram spots in Valladolid.
Make sure you check out the church at different times in a day. At night the church get´s light up and looks even better than during the day. If you have a great phone or camera you can take stunning pictures of this church at night too.
2. Plaza e Parque Francisco Canton
This Zócalo (public square or plaza in México) is the Parc next to the church Iglesia de San Servacio and it is a really beautiful, clean little parc.
There are tons of white benches and chairs where you can take nice Instagram pictures. In the center of the parc is a fountain called “La Mestiza” (mixed race woman) which is an homage to the Yucatec women and the results of fusion of Mayan and Spanish cultures.
3. Valladolid sign and Convento de San Bernadino de Siena
The Valladolid sign is like every colorful sign in any city in México the perfect spot to snap an Instagram picture. This one is one of my favorites because it looks so dreamy with the Convent of San Bernadino in the background. The surrounding area is also super pretty which brings me to my next spot to take pictures.
4. Fountains
Valladolid has a couple of Fountains here and there to take nice pictures but this one is one of the nicests in my opinion because it is yellow and the background is green and red which makes a super pretty and colorful Instagram picture.
This fountain is pretty close to the Convent of San Bernadino de Siena and sits in the corner of Calle 41A (Calzada de los Frailes) and Calle 54A.
5. La Calzada de los Frailes
You hear about this street in every other blog that mentions Valladolid and for a good reason. This street is full of colorful houses and perfect Instagram spots to snap a picture.
I loved the green wall with the green dress I was wearing and I loved the white bench that´s in front of a Hotel. There are also cute boutiques with beautiful interior to check out.
